Three seductive vocal albums from three singers!

Cheryl Bentyne / Songs Of Our Time
In this wonderful new release, the famed member of Manhattan Transfer explores "new standards" of our time, those written or sung by The Carpenters, Carol King, Joni Mitchell and Norah Jones, among others. A very high quality pop album created by jazz musicians, and wonderful sonics, too! Swing Journal Gold Disc.

Alice Ricciardi / Comes Love
The biggest singing talent to emerge from Italy since Roberta Gambarini! This debut CD showcases a straight-ahead jazz singer with a beautiful voice and solid technique. Her voice and delivery reminds me of Irene Kral and Carmen McRae. Wow!

Simone / Let's Fall In Love
The Austrian singer's fourth CD to be released from Venus Records pairs her with great NY jazz musicians (John di Martino, George Mraz, Victor Lewis, Houston Person). Together they explore romantic ballads from several genres. Very impressive, and wonderful sonics, too!

New Arrivals

A Classical New Release from RCO Live!

Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra - Mariss Jansons / Debussy - Dutilleux - Ravel [Hybrid SACD]
The latest from RCO's own label is Mariss Jansons' brilliant interpretations of the French repertoire - Debussy's "La mer," Detilleux' violin concerto "L'arbre des Songes" and Ravel's "La valse." The sound of the 2007 live recording is sweet, detailed and dynamic.

Revolutionary Zenph Re-Performance Hybrid SACDs!

ZENPH Studios utilizes a revolutionary software-based process to extract and encode the details of recorded piano performances, and turns them back into live performances on an acoustic grand piano fitted with sophisticated computers and hardware. This "re-performance" is then recorded afresh using the latest recording techniques (pure DSD).

The concept and technology may be controversial from a purist's perspective, but the result is an undeniable and resounding success! The two discs they have produced so far sound beautiful and authentic. You'll feel as if you are sitting in a recording studio or a concert hall, listening to astonishing live performances of Glenn Gould and Art Tatum! Great discs for the lovers of piano music and audiophiles!

Glenn Gould 1955 Goldberg Variations Zenph Re-Performance [Hybrid SACD]

Art Tatum Piano Starts Here - Live At The Shrine - Zenph Re-Performance [Hybrid SACD]
