Inspired by the classic album by Art Pepper, this project put Bud Shank, the prominent West Coast alto saxophonist, together with a first-rate rhythm section from East Coast, which, in this case, consisted of Cyrus Chestnut, George Mraz and Lewis Nash, to play well-known standards with great verve. Ryan Kisor, the winner of the Thelonious Monk Competition in 1990, has firmly established his position as one of the premier jazz trumpeters of his generation. This debut album from Videoarts Music was recorded in 1999, paying hommage to the great Clifford Brown.

Eastwind Import will be at CES 2010 (January 7-10, Las Vegas), showcasing CRL cables and MHI loudspeakers in partnership with Silicon Arts Design.

Hajime will be the DJ in the Venetian Suite 30-201, playing the best selections from Eastwind's software inventory. If you are coming to CES, please stop by and say hello!
